Most people seem to equate the name Chester Blacksmith with a burly crash that was featured on MTV's Scarred, but crashing isn't the norm for Chet. Rather, he's more well known for stepping up to big challenges, firing out huge lines and riding away smoothly before you even have the time to realize what you had just seen. In a word, Chester is a badass BMXer with a heart of gold and an appreciation for the world around him.

Chester is a badass BMXer with a heart of gold and an appreciation for the world around him.
Based in Portland, Oregon, Chester divides his time between riding, a part-time job at FedEx and traveling the world. He's also one hell of a shooting ace on the video game Buck Hunter. On top of all that, he's not caught up in the trappings of the professional BMX world. Chester has no problem sleeping on the floor and riding all-day on the back of a hangover. And that's what we truly appreciate about Chester; he's a goodhearted, open-minded, down to earth person that just happens to be amazing on a BMX bike. Currently, Chester is camping with his girlfriend in Maine, but if you happen to bump into him, don't ask about the Scarred crash...
