Ashley has been pedalling a BMX for about 15 of his 25 years and the time served is undoubtedly evident in the way he rides. For those who have had the chance to see him ride will be aware of why he has risen to be one of the most appreciated riders in the UK and beyond.

For those who have had the good fortune to meet him it will be clear why a company like éclat would want him on board. His riding speaks for itself and his ability is complemented by modesty and a level head, which is a balance so many people seem unable to strike. It is an over used phrase, but Ashley can ride anything, and epitomises how BMX should be approached on and off a bike. At present Ashley is found running the BMXPlus store in Bournemouth in between making the most of the opportunity to travel, meet new people and find good food. Ashley also rides for WeThePeople Bike Co, Vans, Howies, Bicycle Union and likes Pea Fritters. -Will Jackson
